Palgong Tea Australia (2024)
Project Timeline: Three Weeks
Brand Identity Expression
Franchise Expansion Campaign/R&D
Palgong Tea's South Korean office went through a major rebrand leaving international stores such at a crossroads when it came to releasing products or continuing marketing efforts.
With the Australian branch deciding to explore new directions in brand identity while retaining the main logo, I was commissioned to create physical and digital expressions of brand identity.
These included posters to display menu items, large scale window stickers to announce new stores and renovations (2250mm*2350mm each), new staff uniforms, social media posts, website redesigns and a packaging design for a new product.
Uniform/Further R&D
When initially experimenting with Palgong Tea's brand identity, I began by introducing new mascot like characters as well as a simple illustrative design direction that would personify the brand and create cohesion between the final outcomes.
After positive feedback on the posters, I began work on new staff shirts which I hoped would better reflect the store's youthful atmosphere when compared to the prior uniforms.
Currently, I'm working on producing merchandise such as hoodies, tote bags and keychains within the same art direction as the initial feedback on uniforms has been quite positive.
